Job Description:

CGC Technologies, Inc. has an immediate need for an experienced IT Sales Executive. This position is responsible for the sale of Infrastructure solutions and services. The Sales Executive works to grow new sales revenue by identifying, qualifying and coordinating meetings for all opportunities, presenting solution options, negotiating the contract, and closing. Responsibilities also include establishing client relationships for new accounts and growing new accounts annually.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, networking and marketing to build pipeline
  • Scheduling and visiting prospects to review product/services needs and determine additional opportunities
  • Qualifying and making presentations to potential customers
  • Proposing and closing opportunities for solutions
  • Cross selling and up selling the product suite into existing account
  • Work with marketing and sales team to develop target strategies
  • Setting and managing customer expectations throughout the lifecycle of the account
  • Achieve or exceed monthly revenue targets
  • Maintain or exceed minimum pipeline of opportunities
  • Enhance sales opportunities by capitalizing on knowledge of business technology Position

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in selling large deals to executives and senior management

Telemarketing Representative

Job Description

We are a rapidly expanding IT firm located downtown Silver Spring, Maryland and conveniently accessible by public transportation.  We have 3 Part-time, leading to full-time, openings for Telemarketing Representatives.  Must have strong phone presence, and capable of handling a large volume of phone calls. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a desire to thrive in a sales environment. Previous telephone sales, customer service, call center, or help desk experience in a high volume call setting environment is highly desired.  The starting salary is $12 per hour plus $25 per appointment set and Bonus and MRR, per sales made.

Network Engineer

Job Description:

  • Support a local area network, or a segment of a wide area network.
  • Track both use of cabling, servers, routers, power supply and distribution, and network software and its operation.
  • Manage, troubleshoot, and configure Load Balancers, DNS servers, Global Load Balancers, Proxy Servers, Routers and Switches, Fireproofs, and Firewalls in assigned LAN or WAN.
  • Monitor systems log, deal with problems, work interruptions or slowdowns of activity on the network and take corrective measures.
  • Conduct engineering studies when planning additional power, additional nodes, additional servers and routers to determine cost-effective ways of changing network design or configuration.
  • Confer with owners or developers of applications running or being installed on a network to address load, communications, access, interactions with platforms and related issues.
  • Provide or confer on the development of documentation of network in form of drawings, schematics, or computer assisted design documents so that others on team can understand configuration of network for future troubleshooting or expansion exercises.
  • Knowledge of Ruckus Wi-Fi and Access Points and Zone Director.

Security Engineer

Job Description:

The Technology Services Group is responsible for providing a sound and robust technology infrastructure for our business and systems. The Network Security Operations Professional is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of network and network security infrastructure, and application components.

Responsible for network and network security activities. Configure and implement complex network solutions. Coordinates activities with other system areas and vendors, and deals with network security systems planning, upgrading, monitoring, testing and servicing. Provides advanced network security systems administration support for Check Point firewalls, Blue Coat proxies, F5 Big IP, Cisco switches, routers and ASA, InfoBlox IPAM/DNS/DHCP. Provides resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems. Solutions are innovative, thorough and practical. Works under limited direction and independently determines and develops the best approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives. Represents the organization as the principal customer contact on contracts and often takes on a project leadership role. Support 24×7 on-call rotations. Interacts with senior personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines. College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred. Typically has 5 – 7 years related experience.

  • Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Must be able to provide expert troubleshooting for complex security, network, application and system issues.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking and WAN.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.)
  • Support 24×7 On-call rotations.

CGC offers CCENT and CCNA CISCO Certification instructor lead programs and is in need of a Full time Student Recruiter.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the design and implementation of recruitment strategies;
  • Promoting programs to perspective populations and communities via various methods including giving presentations, face-to-face promotion, phone calling, and other social networks.
  • Maintaining effective communication with perspective students.
  • Supporting the Administration Office in helping to maintain an applicant management system to track new information on prospective students.
  • Qualifying prospective students through program enrollment requirements and admissions.

Qualified candidates should:
